About the test
Antisperm antibodies may bind to structures of sperm cells. The price list specifies a blood serum test for this entry; this differs from a direct MAR test in semen.
The test does not replace a semen analysis and is not a mandatory first test when investigating all couples for infertility. The result alone does not determine the ability to conceive; the need for testing is assessed by a specialist doctor.
